How long do we have until the support for "old Reddit" is dropped and we are forced to use the new Redditbook?
Main Post:
On 4th of September 2017 (less than a year ago), the Reddit source-code was closed and became proprietary, and as we stand today, the default reddit is no longer the Reddit we once had, or the one we (and hopefully you too) are using right now, ie. the "old Reddit". I don't think this is mere coincidence, the planning was probably done long since.
However, this "old Reddit" is sort of a depreciated feature now that could be removed any day. On that day, what are you planning to do? Keep using the new Redditbook interface (because that's what it is, a binary blob riddled with a lot of non-free and invasive javascript code), or switch to some other platform?

When you revert to OLD reddit, you are prompted for feedback.
Everybody should take advantage, use 5min to give the marketing/design people both barrels! The more they hear from us, the more likely we are to enjoy the old ways longer.
